Hi everyone!!!!
I'm now wearing tray #3 . Just to recap, I have 19 upper trays and 16 lower trays.
Here are a few pics.
Before Invisalign
Wearing Invisalign tray #3
So... how has life been since i popped in my new tray ? Hell... pure hell. This tray is the tightest i've felt so far.
I mentioned before that only certain teeth are moved during a certain stage.
When I had tray #1 I felt alot of pressure on my back teeth a.k.a molars . Tray #2 placed alot of pressure on my canines. This new tray is placing alot of pressure, not to mention pain, on my front teeth. I am feeling more pain and sensitivity issues with my right upper front teeth. Now, drinking a cold beverage is like chewing on nails. The tooth is so sensitive that even the regular air (which is cooler than the temperature of my mouth) causes immense , shocking and stabbing pain for a few minutes, before dying out. Went out and bought some pain meds(Trust me- I NEED IT) and thinking of looking around for one of those sensitive teeth toothpastes.
What other issues do I have with my invisalign ?
Cleaning them is time consuming and a bit annoying. It's like cleaning two sets of teeth, like one wasn't enough trouble.
I brush them with soap & water, let them soak in a diluted bleach solution as I can't stand the smell of the trays after they've been sitting in a mouth full of saliva for 20+ hrs, give a good rinse and dry them.
I will be seeing my dentist on July 5th and will keep my readers posted. Feel free to ask whatever questions.I'm pretty open.
Hi, I just found your blog! Looks like we're on a similar journey... any new pics? I have a few more trays than you, but it seems like you should be coming to an end on your first round shortly since I'm switching to tray 14 tomorrow and I started a couple of weeks after you.
ReplyDeleteYou can check out my blog... http://xtina81.blogspot.com/ :)
Thanks for checking out my blog. I will post new pics and give update.
ReplyDeletehi, thanks for posting your experience with invisalign. it's very interesting to see the progress in pictures and the duration the treatment takes. i was looking particularly for a 'non-promotional' report (or, in other words, no reports from dentists themselves ... i just want to know the plain truth) so i was very happy when i found your blog as i am thinking about closing my diastema, too,. it looks like you made a good choice with invisalign, your teeth look absolutely great!
ReplyDeletehi, did you get any attachments on your teeth before or while your invisalign treatment?
ReplyDeleteYou can also try Orthofill . I found it very effective #OrthoBands
